They’re like wearing bees on your feet!

I’ve been so busy lately renovating my bedroom, it’s a mammoth task for a person like me! I’ve so many ideas and I want to find a way to implement them all but my budget and space doesn’t let me. I can’t wait to finish, I promise I’ll post photos! Even if it’s just so i can remember how it once was tidy and spotless!

So anyway, I mucked around with that dress/sack. I made it into a sort of singlet thing. It’s quite lovely now. I’ll post pictures as soon as I find my camera charger!

Alteration time!

I bought this fabulous 80s patterned dress from TradeMe a while back.

It’s made from a polyester and it rather shapeless and long. It’s a “house dress” right now. Kinda yuck. The collar and straps are so unflattering. But I have sewing skills, and I’m going to use them!

Hopefully by tomorrow it shall be an amazing new dress for me, that fits great and looks wonderful!

Sometimes I have the urge to stand starkers, slathered in moisturiser listening to Nirvana and watching Martha Stewart until it all dries.

I also wish for a seat in my shower, wouldn’t it be so relaxing to have a little sit down while bathing. But not in a bath, soaking in your own dirty water. I like to feel clean thank you very much.

Christmas is around the next corner

So I’ve recently been inspired by a bout of organisation (VERY RARE) to get on to my Christmas Ideas.

Therefore I have been researching Christmas cards and wrapping ideas. Not actually committing to anything yet as it is FAR too early.

And also looking around for suitable presents.

I really like these rickrack cards by Martha Stewart.

And the idea of wrapping with plain paper for everyone but jazzing up the name tags with a little bit of a person personality.

Another awesome thing, would be to wrap with plain brown paper and use this tape as a sort of feature.

If you’re needing ideas on what to get me for christmas I would appreciate this recipe book, lamp or book. Or anything on this blog for that matter! =p

Fred Flare is my new obsession.

There is like, and eternity of awesome KITSCH. I didn’t know that much kitsch existed! It’s fricken awesome.

If you don’t recognise this phone, get your butt down to the video store and rent out Juno. It’s the most goshdarn funniest movie ever. I’m not usually one for laughing out loud at movies and it takes a bit to humour me when watching produced things, but this movie had me in stiches. I love the way Juno goes about things, her manner and ways, so awesome.

How many WEIRD looks would you get if you wore these on your legs. All I can say is WTF.

How fricken sweet are these ipod speakers! I have a collection of ipod speaker, one of those things with three legs that were quite popular around 2005/2006, a Transformers speaker, Plain sony ones and an awesome much used round speaker by some random company from the place in the UK where you pay for it and then wait for your number to be called before picking it up? What’s it called?

ANYWAYS.

I wouldn’t mind another set.
